Le pont Alexandre III \u00e0 Paris fut inaugur\u00e9 en 1900 \u00e0 l’occasion de l’exposition universelle. Il relie l’esplanade des Invalides et l’avenue Winston-Churchill, o\u00f9 se trouvent le Petit et le Grand Palais, et permet de rejoindre Les Champs-Elys\u00e9es.<\/h4>\n

Plusieurs sculptures ornent ce pont, dont quatre de L\u00e9opold Morice et Andr\u00e9 Massoulle. Sur le net nous les trouvons avec diff\u00e9rents noms; la sculpture ci-dessous s’appelle soit \u00ab\u00a0G\u00e9nie aux coquillages\u00a0\u00bb soit \u00ab\u00a0Fillette \u00e0 la coquille\u00a0\u00bb. Personnellement je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re la deuxi\u00e8me car le personnage est clairement une fillette et pas un gar\u00e7onnet.<\/h4>\n

The Alexandre III bridge in Paris was inaugurated in 1900 on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition. It connects the Esplanade des Invalides and Avenue Winston-Churchill, where the Petit and the Grand Palais are located, and provides access to the Champs-Elys\u00e9es.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Several sculptures adorn this bridge, including four by L\u00e9opold Morice and Andr\u00e9 Massoulle. On the net we find them with different names; the sculpture below is called either \u00ab\u00a0Shell genie\u00a0\u00bb or \u00ab\u00a0Shell girl\u00a0\u00bb. Personally, I prefer the second because the character is clearly a little girl and not a boy.<\/h4>\n
