Le grand Bouddha (Daibutsu) de Kamakura au Japon est une statue de bronze qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9rig\u00e9e en 1252. Elle fait 13.5 m\u00e8tres de haut et c’est une des repr\u00e9sentations de Bouddha les plus connues dans le monde entier. Elle tr\u00f4ne dans un petit parc entour\u00e9 de collines, \u00e0 quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres de l’oc\u00e9an Pacifique, et attire un nombre consid\u00e9rable de touristes, aussi bien japonais qu’\u00e9trangers.

The Great Buddha (Daibutsu) of Kamakura in Japan is a bronze statue which was erected in 1252. It is 13.5 meters high and is one of the representation of Buddha’s best-known worldwide. It is enthroned in a small park surrounded by hills, a few hundred meters from the Pacific Ocean, and attracts a considerable number of tourists, both Japanese and foreign.
