Le Sanctuaire de la Vérité (Prasat Sut Ja-Tum) est un temple en bois unique au monde, situé au nord de Pattaya, en Thaïlande. Haut de 105 mètres, il couvre une superficie de 4000 mètres carrés. Construit selon l’ancienne tradition thaïlandaise, il est couvert de sculptures au point que chaque centimètre carré est orné de gravures de dieux, d’animaux mythiques ou de symboles religieux. Sa particularité la plus remarquable est qu’il est entièrement construit sans clou ni vis. Le projet a été initié par l’homme d’affaires thaïlandais Lek Viriyaphant en 1981 et devrait être terminé en 2025.
The Sanctuary of Truth (Prasat Sut Ja-Tum) is a unique wooden temple in the world, located in the north of Pattaya, Thailand. 105 meters high, it covers an area of 4000 m2. Built according to the ancient Thai tradition, it is covered in carvings to the point that every square inch is adorned with engravings of gods, mythical animals or religious symbols. Its most remarkable feature is that it is completely built without nails or screws. The project was initiated by Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphant in 1981 and is expected to be completed in 2025.
