A Paris, dans le 12ème arrondissement, se trouve un immeuble austère qui est le commissariat de police. Il se trouve au 80 avenue Daumesnil, à l’angle avec la rue Rambouillet. S’il semble normal de prime abord, il suffit de lever la tête pour être frappé par les statues géantes qui ornent le toit car il s’agit de copies du célèbre Esclave mourant de Michel-Ange! Celles-ci sont hautes de deux étages, au nombre d’une dizaine, ceinturent le toit et sont percées d’un immense triangle en pleine poitrine! Cet immeuble a été créé par l’architecte Manuel Nuñez-Yanowski.
In Paris in the 12th arrondissement, is a austere building which is the police station. It is located at 80 Avenue Daumesnil, at the corner of the street Rambouillet. If it seems normal at first, just look up to be hit by the giant statues that adorn the roof because they are copies of the famous Dying Slave by Michelangelo! These are two stories high, they are among a dozen, they surround the roof and are pierced of a huge triangle in the chest! The building was designed by architect Manuel Nuñez-Yanowski.
